About Our Founder

My name is Ms. Kristy Blakley.  I am the director & developer of Scholastic Scholars 360.  Scholastic Scholars 360 is an individualized, spiral-learning program that is designed to help students succeed academically in language arts and arithmetic subject areas.

Over the course of 30 years of classroom education, I noticed that students started school with pure energetic excitement and enthusiasm to learn.  As time progressed, I noticed that a percentage of students became distracted and disinterested with the idea of learning.

Many of these students experienced gaps in educational concepts which made it difficult for them to progress academically. As I eagerly began to experiment and employ various learning strategies that would be conducive to bridging educational concept gaps, I discovered that the students that experienced educational concept gaps, were most successful when they were able to apply, transfer, and generalize information at a pace that was adjusted to meet their individual needs.  This discovery was the key to the development of Scholastic Scholars 360.
